Opening Weekend at Wenger Field and Shippensburg University

The weather cooperated and the Mid-Penn Aces had a great opening weekend for their co-sponsored kickoff with the Susquehanna Valley Tornadoes and PA Select. Games were played in Fredericksburg at Wenger Filed on Saturday and at Shippensburg University's Fairchild Field on Sunday. During the Shippensburg games Head Coach Bruce Peddie from Shippensburg University and Head Coach Gene Depew from Bucknell University spoke to all the players and parents about playing college baseball and the college recruiting process

College Bound Aces
The 2003 Mid-Penn Aces had 17 senior players and 6 junior players. All 17 seniors are heading to college this fall and, as of this report, we are aware of 13 who have signed with college baseball teams. 2 more seniors are invited to Division I tryouts and 2 seniors are undecided. The schools cover a range of college options: Division I, II, III and junior colleges are involved. A list of the schools are:
